Description

These full-mortise 6 x 3-inch shutter hinges have a unique curved offset that allows you to throw the shutter clear of the window. Made of heavy-duty forged iron with a rough textured surface, they are a great choice for Colonial or Romantic style homes. The surface is phosphate treated then lacquered, for rust-resistant, long-lasting wear.
Dimensions (each hinge): 6" W x 3" H. Throw (distance between the two mortised sections when fully open): 3 1/2". When selecting the proper hinge size for your window, allow a minimum 1" clearance between the shutter and the surface of wall for ventilating purposes.
